This years Ugly Bug Ball took place at Billing Aquadrome over the weekend of 21st/22nd May. The actual rally and get together took place on the Sunday 22nd but many owners arrived the day before to meet to have a chat over an evening meal and a drink or two at 'The Quays’.
Firstly, this rally was organised by private individuals to whom we are all grateful for all their efforts to make this the second Ugly Bug Ball gathering at Billing Aquadrome a great success. Special thanks go to Moriarty and family, Steve and daughter, Keith and Sue, Jon Wellingham, Mike and Karen, Gordon & family Wainwright and anyone else I forgot to mention for the many hours that they have put in. The event had lots of attractions for all age groups and over £1000 was raised for this year’s charity 'Children with Leukaemia' from donations from Multipla Owners and the events attractions.
On the day we had:
- A Multi Car clinic so that experienced Multi owners could pass on tips etc.
- Angel Tuning with their engine remapping, diagnostic tools and performance products.
- Motorvogue Fiat dealership in partnership with Fiat UK sales and parts with accessories on display.
- Tyre puncture company www.protex.uk.net
- A treasure hunt
- Multipla Owners club T-shirt on sale from Mike Yeoman (see designs below)
- Car & Driver agility
- Fresh Coffee & cakes stall
- Jewellery stall
- Toys stall
- Bouncy castle slide
- Goodie bags for all who registered
