|
Well just turned on the PC and thought “lets put an update on the forum on today's (1st Oct) happenings”. Only the four Multi's today including me so those that did not come I'm sorry to say its your loss, Arriving at Clacket Lane to find two Multi’s waiting and Bob comes in shortly after me, then the anxious wait , anyone else ? Or is that it? So off we trundle along the M25 onto the M23 and arrive at Pease Pottage and no waiting Multi’s, so out we get for a few pics but |

unfortunately I forgot my camera so hopefully the others can assist in putting theirs on here, as we are considering what time we should head to Brighton in comes a nice blue multi, genuine roof bars the lot and parks near us and walks off for a split second we got excited on another multi for the run but it was not to be. So lets go B roads via Hand cross, Staplefield, Ansty, Burgess Hill, Ditchling, over the Beacon and into Brighton via Wooding dean, Well Bob decides to take on a 4x4 in Ditchling and from all accounts won, just the driving along leading the other three and seeing peoples faces when we passed was well worth it, blimey not one ugly car but four of them all together, so we stop briefly on top of Ditchling Beacon but nowhere to park so next stop Mac Do's. Rather busy but we all ate and then it was straight in the Multi’s for the seafront cruise to Eastbourne, we even turned off track to go via Beachy Head for some photo opportunities and hopefully these will be posted on here, all four Multi’s nose to tail with a lovely back drop, ( I am really sorry but I cannot remember everyone's names) , one of the other multi drivers decides he is going to lay flat and look over Beachy Head, the most suicidal place in the UK 300ft down enough to turn your stomach when you look at it, |
then all back in the Multi’s to Eastbourne, no free parking as the weather was spoton so we pulled into one and two girls in the front of a car in the car park decide to start giggling at the sight of our lovely four Multi’s in convoy, next stop Fort Fun, straight on the beach to let the kids run wild and throw stones in the sea and some very rapid paddling.. sun goes in behind the cloud so into fort fun and Bob tries his hand taking his son around the small track in a kart (that picture must go on here) . Everyone had a great time, the couple from Hastings (sorry name forgotten already ) , the Family from Kent (all six of them) and Bob Wendy and son, and me. Spent some money in the Fun park and finished up with a cuppa before setting off home. Thank you very much indeed for coming, it was a great day even thought there was only four of us, hopefully this will inspire more events. The run idea was excellent, got a couple of waves from other Multi’s and even saw one with the reg. plate "K1BAB" but just the look on other peoples faces was in itself priceless, I hope you all got home safely and thanks once again. Take care all, happy motoring and a special welcome to Kevin and Caroline who are new Multipla Owner Club Members because of the run" Darren |
